In My Head

 I give the shivers. Make the belly flip flop in the middle of the chapter. Use my voice to create those heightened moments so carefully crafted in thrillers or suspense novels they forget they have been sitting in the driveway for the last ten minutes.

Then… 

My voice summons those butterflies in the belly while experiencing the signature rom-com meet-cute, the heated banter, and that first touch just as the listener does their best to keep a poker face. With more than a decade of theatre experience, I craft just the right amount of tension, nuance and intimacy that draws in the listener. 

Trained in theatre, music, vocal performance and dance, I know how to build a moment or deliver punchline, all while keeping the storytelling grounded and focused for the reader to fully engage. For stories of a sexier, sultrier bent, with open door scenes and content of an explicit nature, my pseudonym of Kayce West sends spine tingles of a whole different sort.
